After researching various roadkill mitigation tools, the Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation believes dynamic message signs give the best mitigation value in preventing wildlife-vehicle collisions.
JHWF now collects roadkill data online using the new Roadkill Watch system launched in March of 2009.

Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation organizes volunteer roadkill data collectors to record carcasses observed along roadsides. With this information in hand, we are now better able to focus our efforts to protect both people and wildlife.
